Daggers are bought to be either used as part of a costume or as collector’s items Daggers made from bronze, copper or steel are double bladed and had handles made of wood, plastic or leather. They differ from knives in that the knife is single bladed and is used for cutting; while the double blade of the dagger is intended for stabbing. It was used as a close-up weapon in times when soldiers wore armors.

Daggers are not in popular use these days. We see them in costumes depicting the medieval period. Some are just facsimiles and are not actually made of metal. The Kit Rae dagger is popular among dagger collectors. Kit Rae is also known for their swords and knives.
