I’m an avid weapons collector. I collect ancient weapons as well as guns. What I’m most proud of are my old swords and knives. Part of my collection is the scabbard that came with the weapon. The scabbard usually comes with intricate design that enhances the value of the weapon.

A scabbard is the house the weapon. It is used to protect the weapon as well as the person carrying it. It is made of different materials from leather, wood or metal. Early warriors treat their swords better than their family. They carry it everywhere and no one is allowed to touch it. This respect towards the sword resulted in beautifully designed scabbard adorned with jewelry. Some swords were so famous that it actually had names. To identify the sword, people look at the scabbard.
