I have been a fan of knights since I was a kid. Some people consider me as a geek but that’s fine because it’s kind of true. From books, movies and other items that has something to do with that age, I have read, watched and collected it already. I am now 23 years old and I cannot say that I have outgrown it.
But one of my most favored items from my collections is my fantasy swords. I sometimes use them to goof around, especially the cheap ones, but most of them are for collection purposes only. They really make me feel like a knight fighting off some evil someone and defeating them. When I eventually have a son, I would give them all to him.

Collecting antique toys has been a pastime despite my age. There’s something wonderful about having those old toys I had when I was a kid still around. I am a kid at heart, and I never grow tired of collecting toys even to this day. Probably because it takes me back in time and provided wonderful memories of my childhood that I always enjoy recalling.
My toys are composed of a vintage tricycle, a few vintage wagons, and a few trucks just like what my father bought me when I was still a child. Red was the dominant color then, and my collection only consisted of those with wheels on them. Hopefully when I have a kid of my own I can get to pass down my collection to him, and will get him to enjoy his childhood the same way I enjoyed mine. There is nothing like the good old vintage toys to keep a smile on my face.

I have always been a kid at heart. They say one may look older, but there’s always that something about my wonderful childhood that kept me to continue with my love for toys and sorts. I have just turned thirty, and despite my age I still manage to be a collector of different toys and play things. Like what they always say, children are the most carefree and trouble-free individuals in this world, and I am hoping that at some points in my life I still get to capture that innocence and untroubled mindset that kids enjoy.
Aside from robots, wagons are one of the few things I love to collect. I have incorporated these things around my home, in my living room corner to keep my stashes of magazines, and that classic red Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagon I keep in the game room to add that dash of playfulness. Having these things around the house are not only functional, but they have converted my home into something that any kid would love and adore. My unique pieces of accessories have added a touch of playful spirit to my home.

Gladius was the word the Roman’s used for sword, and is used to represent the primary sword of Ancient Rome soldiers. Early ancient Roman swords were very similar to those used by the Greeks. A fully equipped Roman legionary was armed with a shield, several javelins, a sword, often a dagger, and perhaps darts. Conventionally, the javelins would be used first and be thrown to disable the shields of enemies before engagement, at which point the gladius would be drawn.
The Roman legionary normally led with his shield and thrust with his sword. All types of the gladius appear to have been suitable for cutting and chopping as well as thrusting. Words that are derived from the word gladius include gladiator which means swordsman, and gladiolus which means little sword. The word gladius is a Latin o-stem noun, with its plural being gladii. The origin of the word can be derived from the level of weapon finish technology in ancient Indo-European languages.

From February to September, it is hard each year without football to watch. During the season, it’s college football from dawn to dusk followed by a full slate of pro games on Sundays. So during the offseason, it’s like I have an extra two days added to my week, but there’s nothing that can effectively fill the void besides football.
About the time preseason rolls around I’m chomping at the bit, donning my team’s Aggie fan gear, wearing Aggie jerseys practically everyday. Luckily there’s a lot of work to be done in preparation for the season: finalizing my fantasy draft board, analyzing training camps and scouting college players.

Slot cars are miniature replicas of vehicles that are constructed to scale. These cars are used in racing competitions that involve a specialized set of tracks equipped with a groove or a slot. In addition to the intricate details of these cars, the design includes a small blade on the underside of the vehicle that fits into the groove and keeps the car on course as the car races around the track. There are slot car kits that are available from most hobby stores and even online through the Internet.
Slot cars first made their appearance in the early 20th century and immediately became popular with both children and adults. As slot cars became more sophisticated, the popularity of slot car racing rose to greater heights. By the end of the 1970’s, the popularity of slot cars had begun to wane. However, the sport continues to have a core group of avid supporters. Nowadays, slot cars have continued to evolve, with the creation of wireless control systems that rely on digital technology to operate the cars.

The NCAA, or the National Collegiate Athletic Association is a semi-voluntary association of 1,281 institutions, conferences, organizations, and individuals that organizes the athletic programs of many colleges and universities in the United States. There are different kinds of NCAA merchandise featuring all of the NCAA logos. These merchandise range from clothes to tailgate products. It features all of the different schools that are members of the NCAA.
The NCAA dates its formation to two White House conferences that were convened by then President Theodore Roosevelt to “encourage reforms” regarding college football practices during the early 20th century. These football practices had resulted in repeated injuries and even deaths that prompted many colleges and universities to discontinue the sport. Following those two conferences, a meeting of 13 colleges and universities was organized to initiate changes that ultimately led to the formation of the NCAA.

Most collectors prefer to keep their collections in display cases, which allow the collectibles to be viewed without exposing them to dust, sunlight,or other damaging factors. Display cases of all sizes are usually made of wood, metal, or plastic, with glass or Plexiglas panels that allow the collectibles to be viewed. There are lighted figurine displays as well as display cases that feature glass or Plexiglas with a UV resistant coating, which protects the collectibles from fading due to exposure to sunlight.
Many display cases are made to hold a large number of collectibles. Display cases also come in smaller sizes, to enable a collector to display one or two choice collectibles. Some hobby stores also sell display cases that are sized for model cars, trucks, airplanes, or ships. These hobby stores also often sell dome-shaped display cases for dolls, figurines, and even flower displays. These display cases generally have wooden or plastic bases, with a dome-shaped or rectangular cover made out of glass or Plexiglas.

Time is valuable as it cannot be taken back, and watches are the best creations known to man that help us from catching the worm. These portable treasures date back to 1524, created by Peter Henlein in Germany. Some are even handmade. These timely collections bring us back in time and get us that sense of history we can fondly look back into.
