It would be meaningful to decorate your home with items that will remind you and your children of history. This will surely create a whimsical atmosphere in your home. Crystal skulls can be a great idea for a unique and historical décor. Art history calls this rock crystal. They were known to be pre-Columbian Mesoamerican artifacts as claimed by their finders.
Crystal skulls are hardstone carvings patterned after human skulls. They are typically made from clear or milky quartz rock. Fiction states that these exhibit certain paranormal phenomena. This carving may indeed be associated with death and fear but could serve as a reminder that death is inevitable and just a part of the cycle of life. It will give us a different perspective believing that life is best appreciated if you believe in death.

Chess can be a very fun and challenging game. For some people though, chess is more than a game. Instead they collect decorative chess sets. In fact, some chess sets are so special and elaborate that they are being auctioned off with high price tags.
Take for example the chess set called Cleopatra the Queen of the Nile. The entire set is beautifully made from teak and crushed alabaster that resembles ivory. All figures are very detailed as they were hand painted by Italian artisans. The graceful lines and meticulous construction make each piece a work of art in itself.

Be equipped properly to survive outdoor adventures. A folding pocket knife with a smaller blade is usually used as a good companion to a primary fixed blade knife. For outdoorsmen who don’t normally wear a belt knife, a folding pocket knife could also become as a primary survival blade.
Choose the best folding pocket knife you can afford. Make sure it has a positive locking blade as folding pocket knives without locking mechanisms are very dangerous. You don’t want to have a serious knife cut on your hand or finger/s while you are trying to survive.

Whether for hunting, kitchen use or for any other purpose, German steel knives are some of the finest blades to use. Some good examples are Boker folding knives which have set a quality far above the rest. They make use of Solingen stainless steel blades which are noted for durability and strength. These blades are what made Boker a famous brand since 1869.
Boker knives date to as far back as the Viking era. Vikings, who were popular warriors at the time, have relied on their swords and the quality of their blades. The present models of Boker knives still have that touch of a warrior that shows in the designs and handles. The walnut finish handles further offer users a comfortable and firm grip.

Emerson is one company that makes quality tactical knives. It is known among elite military and police agencies worldwide. Emerson knives are also available to private citizens. They are experts in the manufacture of tactical folding knives using the Walker Linerlock. It is a locking system that holds the knife in place with a leaf spring when it is in open position. This prevents the blade from closing when in use.
The most common models are the CQC-7, Commander, SARK, Karambit, Raven, and the SPECWAR. One of the features common to most Emerson knives is the Wave. It is a hook on the spine of the blade which when snagged on the edge of the pocket or sheath causes the knife blade to open as it is drawn. The Wave is a patented innovation of Emerson Company. Aside from folding knives, Emerson also manufactures a small variety of fixed blade knives.

My sister’s favorite animal is the dolphin. She loves it so much that even her jewelry is in the shape of dolphins. A few years ago, I gave her a glass dolphin figurine that I got from one of my trips abroad. She found it quite beautiful and started collecting other glass animal figurines. She has a big collection now of glass figurines that she displays proudly in a glass cabinet in her home.
Glass animal figurines are beautiful art pieces that everyone will enjoy. They are also affordable and can be found in almost all gift shops. What my sister looks for in her collection is if they are handmade glass blown figurines. If they are they are one of a kind. No two pieces of handmade glass blown figurines are alike. They may be similar but not alike.
