When I go to a toy store, I see boys hovering by the car section all the time. The most popular cars among the boys are not cars but trucks. Boys really love the truck. It’s big and massive and looks like a monster compared to a car. If you’re looking to give a Christmas gift to your boy, try giving him a model truck kits. He will surely love it.

The most popular assassins in the world are undoubtedly the ninjas. They are Japanese martial arts masters who seem to have mystical powers. Their favorite weapon of choice is the throwing star or shuriken. They were known to appear and disappear with a cloud of smoke and can climb walls and walk on water. Their feats are so amazing that a lot of people doubted their existence.
The fact is ninjas do exist even today. Only 3 ninja legitimate families are left. These 3 families can trace their roots all the way back to the 15th century to prove their existence. These 3 families are Iga, Tokugure, and Edo. The throwing star or the shuriken is a throwing weapon. Unlike in movies, these weapons won’t kill you immediately when hit. The weapon’s purpose is to graze you. Since the shuriken is laced with poison, death will soon follow.

The love for teddy bears does not stop when children grow up. Even as adults, there are those who continue to collect teddy bears. There are no strict rules about the kind of teddy bears that they collect. Oftentimes, there are stories behind each bear but sometimes the only reason for buying them is that they like the look. Just about any kind can be part of collectible teddy bears.
There are some people who choose to have more purpose in their collection. For example, they would collect only antique and vintage teddy bears. Take this vintage white teddy bear with glass eyes still intact but with fur worn in some places. Or an old mohair straw-stuffed toy rag bear. It is a jointed bear missing fur in some spots but with a working noise box. You just have to understand some people.

Add a distinct oriental touch to your home. Consider adding a dragon statue to your collection of Asian art pieces. Each statue usually comes with its own unique character and details. They are hand carved individually so that size and expression may vary slightly on each finished art work, making them all the more unique.
Dragons from the East are considered icons. They are highly respected in many Asian cultures such as China and Indonesia. Dragons symbolize power, dignity, wisdom and good fortune. Some Westerners believe that having a dragon statue at home will also bring good luck to one’s family.

Chess is a wonderful board game. It improves your analytical thinking which you can use in life itself. In chess, you are taught to anticipate moves (up to ten moves in advance) and manipulate your chess pieces as well as your opponents. It was and is the game of kings. I started playing at age 5 using a wooden board and wood chess pieces.
My first chess set was a gift from my father. It was a wooden board with wood chess pieces with simple design. Nowadays, you can find chess sets made of plastic, glass and metal. Some sets are artistically designed with a theme. For example, you can have a chess set with the US civil war as a theme. One will be the union the other confederate. Each chess piece is handcrafted by master craftsmen.

I grew up with two older brothers. I never had a girl playmate until I started going to school. My brothers and I played basketball, football and baseball. I also played with heir action figures. My favorite action figure was G.I. Joe. I never learned any of the “girlie” games until my girl friends at school taught them to me.
An action figure is a toy figurine usually popular among young boys. Action figures are made of plastic. You can move their arms and their legs. Some action figures come with accessories such as guns, bags, ammo and others. Most boys who grew up with action figures collect them and keep them to give to their own sons.

One of the most popular art pieces of Japan is the katana. The katana is the sword of the samurai and can fetch tens of thousands of dollars depending on the master sword maker who makes it. If you are lucky enough to own one, you should display it proudly. Most katana swords are displayed using sword stands in a mantle or a trophy shelf.
Swords stands are basically handles for your sword so you can display it horizontally without the sword tipping over. It is usually made of wood so as not to scratch the scabbard. It is primarily used to display and appreciate the artwork of the sword’s scabbard. Most scabbards have original artwork that can identify the maker of the sword.
