figurative sculpture
Appreciation of art is based mostly on its uniqueness or how close it is to reality. A figurative sculpture for instance is shaped and derived from real models like a person, scenery, an animal, etc. This could be made from clay, ceramics, stone, and even metal. Among all metals, bronze is the most popular material used to make such sculpture. It is however considered more expensive than lead sculptures.
Figurative sculpture is often seen as an additional landscape to the garden or yard. Small ones are often placed in the living room and some are even seen on the floor. Like paintings, their price depends on what materials were used, how huge it is or how detailed the work of art is. They are available in countless designs and you can even ask a sculptor to make your own sculpture!
