Chow figurines

The Chow Chow or Chow is a sturdily built dog that is square in profile with broad skull and small erect ears that are rounded at the tip. This breed has a very dense double coat with fur that is particularly thick around the neck giving it a mane appearance. This characteristic is explained by its origin. This breed of dog was first developed in Mongolia and later introduced in China. As a pet, it is a very loyal dog with a keen sense of proprietorship over its home.

Because of its puffy-lion physical attributes, the Chow is a favorite model for dog figurines. Chow figurines are available mostly in resin which brings out all the fine details. You can get them in any of the Chow’s five characteristic colors – red, black, blue, cinnamon/fawn or cream. Some are hand cast and hand painted and will make a great addition to a collection. It will also make a nice gift to a special someone.
