Your home will have a unique mysterious ambiance when you use a medieval armor to give accent to a certain part of your home. One of the most popular medieval armor is the crusader shield. This was known to protect the knight from any physical damage or harm. At present, this is now used as a house décor. A crusader shield is often hanged on the wall to give it a rustic ‘old world’ look.

Crusader shield can be made of wood, metal or hard plastic. They vary in size from small to a large live size that could even be equally functional. They are also available in three different shapes:

~Round – most common; usually lighter and best for close up combats~Oval/ rectangular – considered as a rare crusader shield shape
