Charlie Brown Valentine

Charlie brown is the main character in Peanuts, a comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz. He first appeared in October 1940 and was depicted as a 4-year old boy. He is often in black shorts, yellow socks and brown shoes. Charlie Brown is normally addressed by his full name by everyone. Among the few comic strip characters who do otherwise are Peppermint Patty who frequently refers to him as Chuck and her friend Marcie who calls him Charles.

A Charlie Brown Valentine first aired in February 2002. It was the first Peanuts special done after Schulz died in 2000 from colon cancer. The special shows the Peanuts characters during the week before Valentine’s Day. Here, Charlie Brown again dreams of inviting the Little Red-Haired Girl to the Valentine’s Day dance. But he doesn’t know that Peppermint Patty likes him and wants to ask him to the dance.
