I love horses. They are such magnificent animals. Thoroughbreds are like poetry to watch when they are galloping off in an open field. That is why I spend most of my vacations at a ranch that my aunt owns. She has a beautiful array of thoroughbreds that she and her husband train for racing.

The last time I was there, she gave me a couple of pony figurines as gifts. They now stand proudly in my apartment’s living room, looking as if they are ready to leap off at any time. They are part of a collection that I have started – I collect anything and everything that has to do with ponies. The other pieces I source online at boutiques that specialize in horse collectibles.
