My brother loves baseball. Ever since he could walk and our dad taught him how to throw, he’s been addicted to the sport. He joined the leagues and won games. He’d try to convince me to play so he’d have a practice buddy, but I never liked it because I was more of a basketball person. Every time I watch him play, I could always see that passion in his eyes and I knew that one day he will be a huge baseball star.

Even though I didn’t play baseball, I knew I had to show him that I support him. I decided to get him one of those MLB watches. It was a simple analog watch with a black leather strap. It took me a while to find the watch that bore his favorite team. When I did, I kept it in a safe place until I could give it to him on his birthday. I can still remember the look on his face when I gave it to him, and I don’t think he’s taken it off ever since.
