gold eagles
When you hear coin collectors taking about gold eagles, they really aren’t referring to a real live golden eagle. They are talking about coins that are minted from gold bullion to compete with other world bullion coins. The intention was to have the value of the coins the same as their metal value. But in some cases where the mintages were low, a collector’s market developed.
You can purchase these coins in uncirculated condition. Meaning these coins have never been used in any commercial means. It is no wonder why collectors really want to get a piece of this special coin. As time passes by, the value of these coins will increase.
