Kurt Russell movies

Though he started as a child actor in Hollywood, Kurt Russell rose to fame only in his latter years. It was in the late ’70s when he was nominated for an Emmy Award for the Outstanding Lead actor in Limited Series or a special for the made-for-television film, “Elvis”. Following this are more Kurt Russell movies where he played different roles as both villain and the good one. As he did more films, Russell also garnered a lot of recognitions. He was nominated for Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for the film, “Silkwood” with Meryl Streep.

Acting was not Kurt Russell’s only contribution to filmdom. He was also director and did voice over jobs in other movies. In 2006, the multi-awarded actor revealed he directed “Tombstone” and provided the voice for Elvis Presley in the 1994 Tom Hanks starrer “Forrest Gump.” Russel also starred in numerous Disney movies like Follow Me, Boys; The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band; The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes; and The Strongest Man in the World, to name a few.
